The School of Liberal and Creative Arts (SCALA) at St Mary’s University, Twickenham (SMU) has launched weekly film premieres showcasing a new student short film over the next seven weeks.

This coming Friday’s short film was directed by Alice Giuduci and is titled Salt & Pepper. The film explores the deceptiveness of appearances.
Students from the BA Acting course at SMU have featured in the films, alongside musicians from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
The complete order of film premieres is as follows:
- Play With Fire
- Salt & Pepper
- Home For the Holidays
- The Watcher
- Robust Love
- Olivia
- Natalmare.
Speaking on the premieres SMU Senior Lecturer in Media Arts Lee Brooks said, “It has been a great pleasure this year, as with every previous one, to teach groups of talented and enthusiastic filmmakers at all three undergraduate levels. The work they have produced in collaboration with some great actors, including from our BA Acting programme, and a group of very talented musicians at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama is a testament to both their abilities and their enthusiasm to learn. We are very proud to be able to present this work to a wider audience during this premiere season.”
