St Mary’s University, Twickenham (SMU) has launched a one-week course for practitioners, researchers, and artists on Resources for Trauma-Informed Practice.
The short course will take place from Monday 8th July to Saturday 13th July 2024, and will be held on campus at SMU as well as online for anyone wishing to attend remotely. However, it is recommended that students attend in-person.
The aim of this course is to provide a collective and tailored environment to reflect and develop individual practice, in order to understand the impact of trauma on practitioners and researchers, and find ways of supporting individuals in their workplace.
This is a master’s accredited, hybrid course, designed for researchers, artists, and practitioners working with trauma.
There will be input from global experts, with interactive learning delivered be lead scholars and practitioners in the field. Guest lecturers include Dr Abi Blakeslee, Prof Maurice Hamington, and choreographer Darrel Toulon.
