Dr André Roca, Associate Professor of Skill Acquisition at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, has been invited to assume the role of Associate Editor for the International Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology (IJSEP).
The IJSEP is the official journal of The International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP), the oldest international society of sport psychology in the world. The ISSP provides a forum for individuals around the world to share theory, research, practice, and professional development in the discipline of sport psychology.
The International Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology is published six times a year, and features empirical and theoretical contributions to the science of physical activity, human movement, exercise, and sport.
André obtained his doctoral degree in Expert Performance and Skill Acquisition from Liverpool John Moores University, and conducted postdoctoral research at the German Sport University Cologne. André currently holds the position of Associate Professor in the School of Sport, Exercise, and Applied Science at St Mary’s.
Alongside his position of Associate Editor for the IJSEP, André is the co-lead for the Performance and Practice Research Theme at St Mary’s, as well as a member of the Advisory Board for the Journal of Sports Sciences and the Journal of Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology.
