The Economy After Corona: Recovery or Intensive Care

Sir Vince Cable (former leader of the Liberal Democrat Party) and Trevor Williams (former Chief Economist of Lloyds TSB) recently discussed the potential implications of the COVID-19 crisis on the UK economy during a fascinating webinar entitled The Economy after Corona: Recovery or Intensive Care.

The webinar, Chaired by Professor of International Relations, Syed Kamall was held on April 30th and attracted significant interest from over a hundred participants, who logged in to hear the views and insights of Sir Vince Cable and Trevor Williams both Visiting Professors at St Mary’s University.

This event was the first in a series of webinars covering a wide range of topics being hosted by the Faculty of Education, Humanities and Social Science at St Mary’s.
