St Mary’s University, Twickenham, has appointed Prof Anne Moran OBE as Pro Vice-Chancellor of Global Engagement. She will lead on international and domestic student recruitment and marketing for the University.
Prof Moran joins St Mary’s following a distinguished career in Higher Education. She was most recently Pro-Vice Chancellor at the University of Ulster where she was Dean of Social Sciences and Head of the School of Education.
Francis Campbell, St Mary’s Vice-Chancellor said of Prof Moran’s appointment, “We are delighted that Anne has joined our Senior Leadership Team at St Mary’s. As we approach our 165th anniversary, we have ambitious plans for our future growth and development. Anne has a wealth of relevant experience in this area and she will be a tremendous asset to our University as we look to expand our reach internationally. We very much look forward to working with Anne to realise this vision.”
Speaking about her new position, Prof Anne Moran said, “I am delighted and honoured to be joining such a well-respected University at a very important and exciting time in its history.”
St Mary’s is the largest Catholic university in the UK. In 2015 it will celebrate 165 years since its foundation in 1850. The University recently appointed Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Head of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, as its inaugural Chancellor.
