Dr Nicola Brown, Senior Lecturer in Health, Exercise and Physical Activity at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, has been named as one of the leading anthropometry instructors by the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK).

Dr Brown said, “ISAK is the only international organisation offering and demanding formal accreditation in anthropometry and I am proud to contribute to the delivery of their accredited training courses.
“In addition to my full time lecturing role and research activities, I have delivered over 15 courses over the past three and a half years; accrediting over 100 anthropometrist’s to date. I am proud to be an ambassador of ISAK and always enjoy meeting the range of individuals on my courses and hearing how they have applied what they have learnt on the course within their careers.”
ISAK was founded in 1986 and in 1996, the organisation developed international standards for anthropometric assessment and an international anthropometry accreditation scheme. Since then it has trained nearly 20,000 anthropometrist’s worldwide.
