St Mary’s University is delighted to invite students in their first and second year of sixth form or college to our Criminology Masterclass Day.
Many people associate stalking with something that happens to celebrities, or a crime that is largely committed by strangers, but the most high-risk stalking cases occur within intimate relationships, and 80% of all stalking cases are carried out by someone known to the victim-survivor.
This masterclass day will aim to develop learner’s stalking awareness and their understanding of the crucial initial steps to follow if someone is subjected to stalking. This event will also include an exercise on prisons and conclude with a CSI mock activity.
