Take part in employability events
You will have numerous opportunities to attend and take part in events that are designed to develop your skills and give you valuable practical experience. These events will help you to build up your confidence and CV, ready for your next steps after graduation.
For example, The Business Clinic Marketing Hackathon puts together Business Management students with representatives from local businesses to work through a real-life challenge within a set timeframe. Teams must come up with ideas and solutions, and then pitch their proposals to a panel of expert judges.
This gives our students the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge and skills that they have acquired, while also encouraging collaboration and the development of presentation skills.
