Staff can now book rooms for ad-hoc sessions using our online booking system, CELCAT Room Booker. Specialist rooms can still only be booked by contacting the relevant contact provided below.
If you require a room on the same day at short notice please book this on CELCAT Room Booker and, subject to availability being shown, feel free to go ahead and use the room prior to approval. Do not use this method by default as the rooms available to you are likely to be limited. It’s better to plan ahead.
Please note if you need a different room layout you must arrange this with campus.services@stmarys.ac.uk directly at least 48 hours in advance. Please note the following.
- You must make sure that you’ve booked an extra 30 minutes at both ends of your session to allow enough time for Campus Services to set up and return the room to its default setting.
- The extra time for layout change must be included in your booking request when you are using CELCAT Room Booker and also if you are contacting timetabling to request a room.
- Campus Services will do their very best to help but there may be times when they are already booked for other work.
- Rooms B2, B12 and J103 have tables on wheels which you should be able to move yourself easily if Campus Services are unavailable.
If during your session you decide to change the default room layout for yourself, you must ensure that any room used is then returned to its original layout after the session and all rubbish is put in the bins provided. Please inform security of any damage to the room on the email below
Teaching takes priority, therefore all ad-hoc bookings are subject to change.
