Library
Located at the heart of the main campus, the Library provides a range of resources to support students in their studies.
The Library has different types of study spaces to support different modes of learning. There are flexible study areas for group or individual work, quiet areas and silent study spaces, as well as bookable rooms. We have a range of PCs and Macs for student use in the Library, plus loanable laptops (for use on site). WiFi is available across campus for you to connect your own device.
All students are automatically members of the Library, which grants unlimited access to our large e-resources collection, as well as access to our physical books and journals.
The Library has around 90,000 printed and 150,000 electronic books. It subscribes to around 56,000 full text electronic journals via databases such as ProQuest Central, Business Source Elite, Science Direct and JSTOR, plus specialist law resources such as WestLaw and LexisLibrary. These can be accessed online from anywhere with internet access.
Most resources can be accessed online using our discovery tool, Primo.
There are a few e-resources that can't be found on Primo, but don't worry, the subject librarians can help with navigating these resources. They also offer support with key academic study skills such as finding and using information and referencing.
