Biography
Tina joined St Mary’s University in September 2023. She currently works as a Lecturer within the Primary Science team, teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate training routes.
Prior to joining the University, Tina worked across primary schools for over ten years. Whilst in school, she taught across the key stages, as well as leading on science for a number of years. With an interest in teacher training, she also worked as an ECT induction lead, supporting newly qualified teachers on the ECT programme, as well as guiding trainee teachers in their journeys to gaining QTS.

Research profile
Tina has a BSc (Hons) in Management and a PGCE in Primary Education. She is currently completing her MA in Sociology of Education, with an interest in teachers’ perceptions of gender in the primary classroom.
