Biography
Prins Butt is an accomplished professional with a passion for advancing educational programmes and fostering innovative learning experiences. Currently serving as the Associate Professor and Subject Lead for Computer Science at St Mary's University, London, Prins plays a pivotal role in curriculum development and industry partnerships. His expertise spans various domains including software engineering, data science, and AI, reflected in his leadership in undergraduate and postgraduate computer science programmes.
In addition to his role at St Mary's University, Prins serves as an External Examiner for computing courses at various institutions, ensuring academic standards and quality across different programmes. He brings extensive experience in curriculum review, accreditation, and assessment, contributing to the enhancement of computing education nationally and internationally. Prins has worked in academia for over a decade, developing and leading programmes, and is experienced in teaching specialist topics in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and data science.
