Biography
Kiran joined St Mary’s in 2012 and currently lectures on the Nutrition programme. Kiran graduated from King’s College London with a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science and went on to complete an MSc in Nutrition and Food Science at the University of Reading.
Prior to joining St Mary’s, Kiran worked as a nutritionist in the food industry, within roles at the British Nutrition Foundation, J Sainsbury’s Plc. and Johnson & Johnson Medical Ltd. Her work involved the practical application of nutrition science within a commercial environment. She worked cross-functionally within the business to deliver evidence-based nutrition information to consumers and health professionals, through various media such as presentations, digital and broadcast.
Kiran is registered with the Association for Nutrition.
