Biography
Dr Antonia Alafouzo is a senior lecturer in digital business, strategy, corporate entrepreneurship and management consulting at St Mary’s University.
She is Course Lead for the International Business Management, and Interim Course Co-lead for the MBA programmes.
She holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, an MBA from Henley Business School and a PhD in business management from Royal Holloway, University of London.
She has been a research associate at Henley Business School and an international business MSc lecturer at Touro College in New York City, where she was associate research director of the Touro International Business Research Centre, Graduate Programs.
Antonia has strong relationships and experience in international business and maintains deep ties with industry leaders in different industry sectors and high level management in different countries. She was a also a management consultant and senior principal in both London and New York City for clients such as: Philips BV, ATT Wireless, KPMG, Credit Suisse, Jones Lang Wootton USA, Barclays bank international, NatWest bank and Booz-Allen, among others.
She began her career as an international business journalist at the Economist and the Financial Times and is a long-standing member of the International Institute of Journalists.
She has presented her work at various international conferences of the Strategic Management Society and Egos, among others.
