Biography
Anthony completed his honours degree in Sport Science at the University of Teesside in 2000. In 2001 he returned to Teesside to do an MSc in Sport and Exercise Science (specialising in Biomechanics). On completion of his MSc Anthony began full time lecturing at St Mary's University.
Anthony has a keen interest in foot and footwear biomechanics and is currently working towards a PhD entitled 'The analysis of dynamic stability in the deaf' at the University of Teeside.
He predominantly teaches on the Biomechanical modules of the undergraduate courses. He also contributes heavily on the performance analysis and sports performance modules.
Anthony enjoys all sports particularly playing and watching football. He played semi professional football during his time at university. Before playing football seriously Anthony had trained in Karate for ten years gaining his black belt at the age of twelve. As well as sport Anthony has a keen interest in art.
