Biography
After completing the BSc Sports Rehabilitation degree at Middlesex University in 2012, Ali spent the next five years building her experience. After graduating, she travelled to Europe to implement improve her soft tissue techniques working as a recovery massage therapist in a ski resort.
Ali then worked at two different residential rehabilitation units in the UK, one with injured fire fighters and the other with injured military personnel. In both of these units, she was exposed to a plethora of injuries from a wide variety of patients from elderly, retired fire fighters to the front line, infantry soldiers. In this time she also saw injured athletes back to game fitness across many sports such as ice hockey, rugby, football and basketball.
In 2014, Ali travelled back to Middlesex University completing an MSc in Strength & Conditioning. From here she gained experience working as an S&C coach at Surrey Sports Park with the BBL team (Surrey Scorchers) and TASS athletes from fencing and volleyball.
Ali became a member of the Sport Rehabilitation lecturing team in 2017.
