Rehabilitation and Acute Management

The module aims to prepare students with a depth of skills in the management of a patient in the acute exercise rehabilitation setting. This might be with musculoskeletal injuries and/or health and fitness. This is in line with BASRAT’s current vision of sports rehabilitators in the workplace.

There will be a large emphasis on different acute training modalities used within rehabilitation. This will bridge the gap between acute patient management and return to play testing and decision making for an athlete or patient to return to sport or activities of daily living.
