We offer a range of massage courses for every part of your career journey.
If you are starting out, our entry-level qualifications will certify you as a professional massage or sports massage therapist or reflexologist.
You can also study advanced-level classes or take a specialist Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course to advance your skills and client portfolio.
Massage classes take place at the University in our dedicated facility at 60 Waldegrace Road. You’ll access:
- exceptional, spacious facilities for both theoretical and practical learning
- specialist equipment, including hydraulic massage couches.

What does this course qualify me to do?
Our massage courses are accredited by ITEC and are recognised internationally. Once successfully completed, you will be able to professionally practice massage either as a self-employed practitioner or within an organisation.
What is ITEC (VTCT)?
ITEC - the International Therapy Examination Council is the awarding body who provide the course syllabus which we cover in class. The examiner works for ITEC and will be responsible for the practical exam. Your certificate will be issued by ITEC.
Do I need to bring my own massage bed?
No, our classrooms are equipped with hydraulic massage tables for you to use. You will need to provide some equipment (towels, lotion etc.) which is detailed in your welcome pack you receive once you sign up to a course.
Am I insured to practice massage?
During your course you are insured to practice your skills whilst completing your portfolio. Once you pass you will need to get your own insurance cover. ITEC qualifications are recognised by insurance companies as they show you have met the industry standards and are a competent therapist.
Do you accept student finance?
No, we do not accept student finance however you can pay in instalments. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions regarding payment.
Are there opportunities for employment post course?
We offer opportunities to volunteer at sporting events and you will build a portfolio throughout your course. Once you pass you will be qualified and ready to enter the industry.
How many students are in a massage class?
We require a minimum of six students to run a course and we can accept up to sixteen.
Would I be too old/ too young to join?
No, as long as you are over the age of eighteen. We have a great variety of students join our courses both male and female.
Who will my tutor be?
Our tutors are experienced practitioners who offer a wealth of practical knowledge and experience. Our friendly and supportive team of expert tutors includes Naomi, Cathy, Vicky and Amanda. The team has a wide range of specialities and practical knowledge and is very experienced in teaching massage qualifications.
- Naomi delivers the Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage and our one-day Pregnancy Massage course.
- Cathy teaches the Level 4 and Level 5 Sports Massage qualifications, Taping and Strapping and the Diploma in Sports Massage for Massage Therapists.
- Vicky is our expert teacher in Anatomy and Physiology theory, which is the foundation of all our entry-level massage diplomas. Vicky also teaches the Level 3 Diploma in Body Massage.
- Amanda is our Reflexology specialist and teaches the Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology.
