The Centre for the Art of Living and Dying Well

""The Centre for the Art of Living and Dying Well's mission is to help people live and die well and be supported in their grief.

Our death literacy and end of life communication research is having a real impact on practice.

We train the frontline—seminarians, carers, volunteers, and teachers—in dealing with death and loss.

We engage the public and policymakers in the conversation about death, dying, and bereavement through events, podcasts, online resources, and roundtables.

Our Art of Dying Well podcast is in the top 10% of global podcasts (according to Global Rank).

Together with the SVP (St Vincent de Paul Society), we have trained over 350 end of life companions who are working as volunteers in hospices, hospitals, care homes and their local faith communities.

We aim to make death and dying something we can talk about openly without discomfort or fear.
