The Bakhita Centre collaborates with the International Willow Network, an international community for scholars and artists to develop research around trauma, care, and peace-making.
The goals of the International Willow Network are to:
- develop research in the field of trauma and care
- envision and understand relationships of care through narrative and performing arts
- organize effective means of distributing research outputs as resource for international underserviced communities.
The Institute aims to grow academic research, artistic innovation, and trauma-informed distribution of resources.
Lead: Dr Anna Westin, Honorary Fellow and visiting lecturer, Bakhita Centre.
