Dual accreditation
Successful completion of our International Business Management master’s will lead you to a Level 7 qualification in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice awarded by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) (subject to passing the required CMI mapped modules and CMI moderation).
Please note that you will not qualify for this award if you study this course as a PGCert or PGDip.

Modules
If you have a previous degree in business you will take five core modules and select two optional modules.

Previous degree
You are expected to have at least a second class honours degree from a UK or overseas university (or equivalent).
Additional requirement information
You may have read business or management before as part of your undergraduate degree, but this is not required and we recognise that many students will come to study the programme from a humanities, sciences, sports or technology background.
Mature students with relevant managerial experience but with limited educational qualifications will be considered and all applications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
International Requirements
International students should check our country-specific pages for equivalents. If English is not your first language you will need to achieve an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in any section.
We now accept IELTS Indicator test results as proof of your English language level.

Additional costs
Your tuition fees will cover the cost of all mandatory elements of your programme. Additional costs could be incurred depending on optional modules chosen and other projects undertaken.

Alumni discount
A 20% tuition fee discount is available for our alumni (undergraduate and PGCE) planning to study this Master's degree. Those studying for a PGDip of PGCert are not eligible for the discount.
Funding
You can check on the UK government website to see if you may be eligible for a loan of up to £12,167 to help with course fees and living costs while you study a postgraduate programme.
Home and international students may also be eligible for external sources of funding. International students should check their eligibility for our International Scholarship.

How the degree is taught
Assessment methods
Assessment will take the form of individual and group work that may include essays, reports, time-constrained coursework, oral presentations and consultancy projects.
Each module is assessed separately and will have a maximum of two pieces of assessment. All assessments count towards your master's award
