On Friday 16th November, The Richmond Business Awards recognised the achievements of The Exchange, Twickenham, by commending the venue for Best Achievement in Corporate Social Responsibility.
The award for Best Achievement in Corporate Social Responsibility, recognised at The Richmond Business Awards, is suited to a business or organisation in Richmond Upon Thames that do significant work in the borough. Businesses selected for nomination, or commended for this award, will have a positive impact on the community of Richmond Upon Thames, through their significant work in the borough.
The Exchange creative director, Stuart Hobday, attended the awards ceremony at Twickenham Stadium with St Mary’s Enterprise Officer, Julia Bourke. The Independent Judging Panel commented on the award, saying “The Exchange is a well-managed facility in Twickenham. Only a year old, but an impressive start.”
Stuart Hobday, Creative Director of the Exchange commented on the award, saying “We’re delighted to receive an award for Social Responsibility. It’s recognition that within a few months of opening we have become home to several projects, helping people with mental health difficulties, lots of educational activity, social awareness events, charity events and community concerts.”
“The team at The Exchange, backed up by St Mary’s University, has worked hard to quickly become a hub of community activity in the Twickenham area and will continue to do so in 2019.”
