St Mary's Drama Students Showcase Their Talent

Final Year Drama students at St Mary’s University, Twickenham performed their annual showcase at Soho Theatre in Central London, to an invited audience of agents, casting directors and producers. Students performed a range of pieces to the packed out crowd at the venue. The students, who will graduate this Summer, used this event to make connections with industry professionals. The Showcase saw the return of director Katie Henry to direct the piece for Drama St Mary's. Katie, a graduate of St Mary's, has gone on to work as trainee director at the Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond, and as Resident Director for National Theatre's War Horse. Academic Director Patsy Gilbert said, “The finalists showcase is always a highlight to our summer programme. This event is a testimony to the intense training our students have completed as part of their degree. We wish them every success in their future careers.”
