Athletes from the Endurance Performance and Coaching Centre at St Mary’s University, Twickenham have been selected to represent Team GB at the European Athletics Junior and U23 Championships.
The European Athletics U23 Championships, hosted in Tallinn, Estonia on 9th to 12th July, will see Mo Farah Foundation Scholars Adele Tracey compete in the women’s 800m and Theo Blundell compete in the men’s 800m.
Later in July, at the Junior Champions, hosted in Eskilstuna, Finland, Mo Farah Foundation Scholar Amy Griffiths will compete in the women’s 1500m and current student Jack Rowe compete in the men’s 10000m. EPACC athletes Gus Cockle and Grace Baker will also be competing in men’s and women’s 5000m.
EPACC Coordinator Craig Winrow said, “It is good to see our younger athletes being selected for Great Britain in these championships as this is a great stepping stone to future senior global championships.”
