St Mary’s Hosts Networking Event for Students

The Centre for Workplace Learning (CWL) at St Mary’s University, Twickenham recently hosted a networking event for students at neighbouring Strawberry Hill House. The Centre for Workplace Learning offers students and employers the opportunity to work together through student work placements. This year, students have had placements in a variety of high-profile companies, including sports radio station talkSPORT, marketing company CSM Sport & Entertainment, and HM Revenue & Customs. The networking event included poster presentations from third year students who have returned from placements, displays of student enterprise projects, and details of the latest work experience opportunities. Other employers that the CWL has partnered with have included the Metropolitan Police, the Malta Tourist Office and the South West London and St George’s NHS Trust.
