Law Resources

A wide range of specialist resources are available for St Mary's Law students via the library service. 

A basic summary is available below, but please see the Law Subject Guide for more details. 

Legal e-resources 

The library provides access to the following online legal databases, containing law reports, statutes, cases, journals and newspaper content:

• HeinOnline
• LexisLibrary
• Westlaw

Legal books and e-books 

A range of Law books and publications are available in printed and e-book format in the library collection. These are closely matched to those books recommened on Law module reading lists. To locate a specific book please use Primo Library Search.   

Printed Law books can be found in the Law Library section on the ground floor of the library. 

Cases and legislation 

The LexisLibrary, Westlaw and HeinOnline services provide comprehensive access to UK legislation and case reports. 

Legal journals and periodicals 

The following specialist periodicals are subscribed to by the library. For titles marked as having online access, please use the Primo to access the full-text. Print titles can be found in the Law Library section on the ground floor of the library.
