Micro-multimedia content:
Offer weekly short (one or two minute) videos or podcasts to add variety to student online learning journeys. This might include:
- A welcome to the week
- An overview of Learning foci
- Weekly questions (try a provocative question)
- Key thinking points
- Industry experts
- Recorded assessment guidance
- Insights into key readings
- Alumni-created content.
Follow-up with an asynchronous activity and encourage peer review and reflection.

This kind of content is a good way for teaching staff to build relationships with students. Informal and low-tech options can add a 'human' dimension to online learning.
Why not record a short audio recording on a mobile phone and upload to Panopto.
