We are committed to ensuring equal access for all at St Mary's. To help with this we work with an external company, AccessAble, to provide regular accessibility assessments of our facilities.
AccessAble is a charity developed by disabled people for disabled people to maximise independence and choice.
On their website you'll find detailed access information to thousands of venues across the UK and the Republic of Ireland: shops, pubs, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, railway stations, hotels, universities, hospitals, and more.
AccessAble also survey our campus to provide you with detailed information about accessibility throughout the University. This allows you to make your own informed decisions during your time at St Mary's.
AccessAble Access Guides
Access guides are available for most locations at the main St Mary's campus, and at the Teddington Lock campus. Links to the various individual access guides can also be found across SIMMSpace and the external St Mary's website.
An AccessAble app is also available to download.
Route plans
Access Guides are also available for planned routes around campus, and between campuses.
These and more are available from the St Mary's AccessAble page.
If you have any questions about using AccessAble, or if you are concerned that a location may not be accessible to you, please contact wellbeing@stmarys.ac.uk.
