All applicants for our BA (Hons) Creative Production programme are required to attend an inteview on campus.
If you currently live overseas and will not be able to attend in person, please contact Admissions at apply@stmarys.ac.uk and we will tell you how to submit a digital portfolio.
First, you need to log in to our student applicant portal.
Your username is your student ID and your initial password is your date of birth in the format DDMMYYYY.
Select the ‘my application’ tab and then select the button labelled ‘book interview’ and then choose your preferred date and time.
Auditions will be held on the following dates:
- 18th January
- 1st February.
Further dates may be available but cannot be guaranteed at this stage. As places are limited on this programme we would advise you book for as early a date as possible.
Start Time: 9:45am arrival for 10am start.
- End Time: 2pm (approximately).
- Where: Main Reception, St Mary’s University, Waldegrave Road, Twickenham TW1 4SX.
- What to bring: your portfolio – see the interview process section for full details.
There may be availability to park on campus in the bays marked D. These can be paid for using the JustPark app.
View information about how to get to the campus.
Blue Badge holders will need to contact the St Mary’s University Reception team at reception@stmarys.ac.uk to reserve a Disabled Parking space in advance of the interview date.
We ask that you bring your portfolio with you, as you will have an opportunity to discuss it with a member of the Creative Production team during the interview. There are also opportunities on these days to meet the whole academic team and other students already on the programme, and to tour the facilities.
Portfolio guidance
Please prepare a portfolio to bring to your interview day. It can include:
- design and technical work you have done for theatre or live events
- art projects
- graphics
- costume work
- anything else that gives us an insight into your creative work.
This does not need to be a formal portfolio. You can bring photos, drawings, and sketches – what is most important is that we can see evidence of your work so that we can make an assessment.
