- Your studies: your Personal Tutor, Programme Lecturer, Module Convenor, Programme Director, Learning Development Lecturers, Faculty/Institute Associate Dean Student Experience. You can also get further support from a member of the Student Services or Library teams
- Your career: the Employability team
- Your accommodation: your Resident Mentor, Student life Manager or the Accommodation Services team
Chat to a student
- Your studies: your course or new faculty / institute rep, library rep, new inclusion and widening participation rep
- Your accommodation: Residents Rep, Student Senior Residents, Student Life Co-ordinators
- Your sport: a member of the relevant sports club committee.
Join a discussion group
Take part in a Student Engagement, Student Voice Group or a Student Life focus group or contact a student group member and follow their progress on social media.
Drop in at the SU’s Zone meetings or Annual General Meeting
Propose an idea to improve life so it’s discussed, voted on and actioned at the Student Experience, Education, Societies and Sport Zones which happen each semester and go along to their Annual General Meeting.
Speak to the SU team
Get in touch with your friendly SU Officer team who represent you. Talk to or email the Presidents for Education, Student Life or Sport.
Write on the dedicated Graffiti Walls around campus
Share your ideas/questions or feedback and anonymously if you wish on the Graffiti Wall at various events throughout the year.
Submit your feedback online
Click on the “Shape St Mary’s” link in Moodle – submit your feedback online. It will be forwarded to the relevant team who will respond to you directly.
Complete a survey
Complete the Student Experience and your online programme surveys anonymously, and the annual Freshers, Library and National Student Housing surveys. All final year UG students in the UK are also asked to fill in the annual National Student Survey (NSS), opening in February 2021, run by Ipsos Mori.
