Car Parking Terms and Conditions
- Strict parking controls are in place from 1st September 2024 until 31st August 2025. The following conditions apply to all drivers of vehicles parked in university parking areas and any other areas designated from time to time by the Facilities/Security Services.
- The digital permit allows you to park your vehicle on campus but does not guarantee that a space will be available.
- Digital permits are valid for parking seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
- Digital permits may only be used for vehicles owned or driven by the staff member registered to the permit. Only vehicles with registrations shown on our system are permitted to be parked on campus.
- Only one digital permit per authorised holder will be issued.
- Digital permit Sharing - only one of the registered vehicles will be permitted to park on campus at any time.
- All vehicles are parked at the owner’s own risk.
- In the event your vehicle is replaced either on a temporary or permanent basis, please contact parking@stmarys.ac.uk.
Penalty fines will be applied when:
- parked in areas marked with double yellow lines, or yellow hatched areas
- parking on pavements or on grassed areas
- vehicles causing an obstruction
- use of day spaces or other specifically marked bays without prior authorisation
- parking in disabled bays without displaying an appropriate blue badge.
Repeat abuse of parking conditions may result in your permit to park being withdrawn.
