Sex is a protected characteristic under the UK Government’s Equality Act 2010. Under the Equality Act, it is illegal to directly or indirectly discriminate against individuals due to their sex, or gender.
The Microlearning's below are focused on how we can become more inclusive at St Mary's by learning about other groups that we may not identify with. Learning about other's lived experiences and building an awareness can lead to better respect of our colleagues, students, and ourselves.
