The WP Student Engagement Team are delighted to bring to you the Student Engagement Awards 2025 on Thursday 22nd May at 4pm at the Exchange.

As the WP Student Engagement team, we work hard to remove barriers in order to ensure students from all backgrounds can thrive at University. We are proud to present the Student Engagement Awards, a yearly celebration of our wonderful students here at St Mary’s University.
Award categories
The Student Engagement Awards are a yearly celebration of students who deserve recognition for their engagement with and contributions to St Mary’s. Students and staff members from across the University can nominate students in the following categories:
- Outstanding Commitment to Peer Support
- Against the Odds
- Senior Resident of the Year
- Commuter of the Year
- Innovator of the Year
- Little Acts of Kindness
- The St Mary’s Values Awards (Excellence, Inclusion, Generosity of Spirit, Respect) – outstanding individuals category
- The St Mary’s Values Awards (Excellence, Inclusion, Generosity of Spirit, Respect) – outstanding group category
- Student Ambassador of the Year
- Widening Participation Ambassador of the Year
- Best Ambassador Newcomer
- Judges’ Choice: Outstanding Student Nominee, as selected by the Judges' Panel.

Award ceremony
Prizes are awarded at a ceremony held at The Exchange, in Twickenham, in late springtime. It’s the perfect occasion for nominees and guests to dress fancy and enjoy an afternoon of festivities.
