SUPPORT is the allied health involvement group at St Mary's University
It is the community engagement area for our professional courses. We are always looking for volunteers to help support our therapy degree courses.
How you can help
We are always looking for people with real life experience of health and social services, who are willing to share their stories with our students. These students will be training to be the next generation of frontline workers in the NHS, social care, the community and private sectors.
We are looking for anyone who has seen a physiotherapist or occupational therapist, to share their experience with our students.
You could also help to support our courses by, for example:
- being involved with student interviews for admissions
- acting as consultants for reshaping course content
- working to help students with exams, for example with communication and listening skills.
