Hodge Jones & Allen and St Mary’s University School of Law have launched a free Personal Injury Clinic for local communities.

In an exciting new partnership, law firm Hodge Jones & Allen and St Mary’s University Law School have set up a free Personal Injury Law Clinic aimed at serving the local community while providing valuable practical experience for law students.

This initiative aims to enhance the employability and readiness of students from the School of Law and provide essential legal services and support to individuals in need within the community.

The Personal Injury Law Clinic offers legal representation and advice to those who have suffered accidents and require professional guidance.

The clinic represents a significant step forward in bridging the gap between legal education and practical application, preparing students to enter the legal field as competent, experienced professionals while also fulfilling a crucial community service.

Our free, confidential legal advice clinic in Twickenham will give you advice to help you resolve your personal injury claim with confidence. Your personal injury claim may be the result of the following:

  • an accident at work
  • a car or road traffic collision - as a driver, cyclist, or pedestrian
  • an accident in a public place (known as public liability)
  • accidents in other premises (known as occupiers’ liability)
  • injuries caused by defective products.

If you have suffered a personal injury, it can be detrimental to the quality of your life, either temporarily throughout the healing process, or permanently in cases of severe, life-changing or catastrophic injuries. In either instance, there is often a basis for a claim for compensation as recompense for the damages caused by the incident. Early rehabilitation and medical treatment required will also be arranged.

You can also claim for past and future financial losses and expenses such as loss of earnings and the cost of any treatments you may need to aid your recovery.

If you have been injured in the last three years through no fault of your own, we can help with free initial advice.

The clinic is run by the St Mary’s University Legal Advice Clinic and online appointments are available. You will be offered a 45-minute appointment where St Mary’s University student advisors will listen to your personal injury case and take time to understand your personal situation.

Important, please note: no legal advice is given at the appointment, but you will then receive a legal advice letter up to 21 days after your appointment. All legal advice is researched and written by our law students but is supervised by a qualified and practising personal injury solicitor.
