Disproportionate burden
We claim disproportionate burden for the use of Playwaze Ltd (`Playwaze’) in accordance with The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (‘Regulations’) as it is not compliant with the Regulations. Prior to the Regulations, we entered into a contractual agreement with British Universities and Colleges Sport (‘BUCS’) which expires on 31st August 2021 for the use of Playwaze.
As such, we are unable to terminate the agreement and/or amend the agreement until expiry. However, we will work closely with Playwaze and BUCS to try and meet all or part of the Regulations were reasonable. In the meantime we are searching the market to find an activity tool which (1) can meet our institutional requirements and (2) is compliant with the Regulations. We will update this statement in due course once a suitable alternative is found.
