St Mary’s University, Twickenham, adheres to the requirements of the Office for Students Regulatory Framework and the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) UK Quality Code for Higher Education, as well as other external regulatory and legislative requirements. This section sees the publication of the responses to regulatory and sector requirements relating to these bodies.
In May 2019, the sector-representative bodies for higher education in the UK published a Statement of Intent, reaffirming their commitment to protect the value of UK degrees and to transparent, consistent, and fair academic standards. The Statement of Intent explained how providers in the different nations of the UK would take different approaches towards their common goal of protecting the value of degrees, reflecting their differing national quality assessment arrangements. The UKSCQA is, with the backing of UUK & Guild HE, encouraging providers in England and Wales to publish degree outcome statements.
The OfS requires St Mary’s University, as part of Condition of Registration F1 (transparency information), to publish Transparency 2023 data on the University’s external website.
