The Level 2 Award in Understanding Behaviour Change aims to provide you with the knowledge and confidence to offer opportunistic interventions with individuals about behaviour change which could improve their health and well-being. This qualification will enable you to understand the importance of listening, hearing and observing when establishing appropriate relationships with individuals for the purpose of helping them to develop strategies to undergo behaviour change.

Content
Whilst enrolled upon the course you will study to:
- Understand how to ensure communication with individuals is effective
- Know how to support individuals to adopt positive health behaviour
- Understand how an individual can be supported in developing strategies enabling them to make lifestyle or health behaviour changes
- Understand how to support an individual with a lifestyle or behaviour change implementation plan
The course is assessed via
45 minute, 30 question multiple choice exam paper.
Requirements
There are no entry requirements to enrol on this course. Although it is recommended that you have literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to Level 1.
Award
Upon successful completion of this course students are awarded the RSPH Level 2 Award in Understanding Behaviour Change (Health and Wellbeing).
